ACORN NATURALISTS RECEIVES TUSTIN PRESERVATION CONSERVANCY AWARD (May 2007): In a major competition, Acorn Naturalists received the top award for "new construction that best reflects the character and integrity of the Old Town area." Years in the planning, the Acorn Naturalists building was designed and built to replicate early American Craftsman architectural style. ACORN NATURALISTS' RECEIVES ENVIRONMENTAL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD
(MAY 2005): In recognition of the company's core values of integrity and innovation, as reflected in the design and operation of its Center for Science and Environmental Education, the Center received the Environmental Business of the Year Award from the League of Conservation Voters. FOUNDERS OF ACORN NATURALISTS RECEIVE HOWARD BELL AWARD (May 2005): At the annual conference of Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education, www.aeoe.org, the cofounders of Acorn Naturalists, received the coveted Howard Bell Award for "Outstanding Achievements and Contributions in the Field of Outdoor and Environmental Education."
