These life-size mammal track replicas are individually cast using flexible vinyl polymers. Mammal Track Molds
Made from flexible vinyl polymers, these mammal molds can be filled with plaster, clay or PerfectCast®, the durable compound used by museum professionals (available from Acorn Naturalists). Use the track casts you make from these molds as instructional aids, pressing the tracks into moist sand or dirt, or use to make ink prints, or compare your impressions with ones found in the field. Everyone can have fun making animal tracks—students or campers can take them home or make displays. Clean occasionally with soapy and warm water. Each mold also features the name of the track and hind (H) or front (F) paw reversed out so that it appears correctly on the positive. Each includes a hind and a front track mold (set), unless designated as "ea" in which case only one mold of one foot is offered).

Mammal Tracking Stencils
Based on real tracks, these life-size mylar stencils are precision-cut to produce a perfect track outline. Each tracking stencil set includes one action stencil for creating common movement patterns and two single stencils representing front and hind feet. Stencils can be flipped over to create both right and left-sided prints. Each set also contains a natural history reference sheet that describes the animal’s ecological status, habitat, body shape, behavior, and diet along with illustrations of one or more track patterns.
