DISCOUNT INFORMATION:

For many items, bulk discount pricing is listed in the resource description (for an example, click here). For items that do not specifically show bulk discount pricing, discounts are still given when ordering 20 or more of a given item. Your shopping card will automatically calculate and show these discounts. In addition, hundreds of deep discounts of 30-60% can be found in our catalog overstock section found here.

ORDERING DETAILS:

You can easily order online, but if you prefer to fax or send in an order,, simply list the quantity, item number, brief title, and price (alternatively, you can print out a copy of our main index and printed order form by clicking here).  Add shipping (please see below) and if ordering in California, add the appropriate tax to the pre-shipping subtotal.  Please provide a street address for delivery and indicate method of payment (we accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as well as purchase orders from established institutions or schools). We house everything we carry ourselves, which means that we have direct control over fulfillment and can give you helpful answers when you inquire about a product or order. Our goal is to provide you with the best service possible. We appreciate your support and always welcome your suggestions.

Shipping and Handling: For regular surface delivery in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, a flat rate of $8.95 applies for orders under $90.00; 10% of the subtotal for orders from $90 up to $500; 7% of the subtotal for orders from $500 up to $2000, and 5% of the subtotal for orders over $2000.

For Next, 2nd, 3rd Day or international orders, shipping rates are added based on weight, type of delivery requested and destination. In order to quote accurately, we need to weigh and pack the order and consult the appropriate shipping schedules based on the details of your request. Please let us know what your special shipping requirements are and we will contact you prior to filling your order.

On international shipments only, please note that every country has its own, ever changing set of regulations concerning taxes, duties, brokerage and other fees levied on incoming goods. We have no control over these fees - they are not established (or received) by Acorn Naturalists and may add to the total cost of good received.

California Taxes: As per California tax regulations, orders originating from California locations are taxed at the 7.5% state tax rate (calculated on the order subtotal before adding any shipping charges). For orders originating within Orange County, California, 8% sales tax is added. Orders from locations outside of California are not taxed.

Unconditional Guarantee: If any item does not meet your needs for any reason, simply let us know within 90 days of receipt. All items in our catalog and on our website are included in this unconditional guarantee (DVD's, CD's, books, kits, replicas ...in a word, everything). To return an item, call toll-free between 7am and 5pm Monday through Friday, PST, (800) 422-8886, and ask for a return authorization number. This also allows us to advise you regarding any special packing requirements (to ensure that items arrive here in undamaged condition) and so that we can make sure you receive a correct refund, replacement or credit (your choice).
