| Resource Description
|
| A CHILD'S PLACE IN THE ENVIRONMENT, GRADE 5: Conserving Natural Resources. The series, "A Child's Place in the Environment" was developed by the Lake County Office of Education and the California State Department of Education. This comprehensive series of six elementary curriculum guides focuses on four themes (valuing the environment, systems and interactions, patterns of change, and conservation). These themes are introduced through science and social science activities, children’s literature, and a study of environmental role models. Each binder offers approximately 20 sequential lessons and a poster to augment the lessons, and although developed for and adopted by schools throughout California, this curriculum can be adapted to fit any environment or region. #CDEB-7004. $45.00.
