Tracking Stencils and Activity Guides
Based on real tracks, these life-size mylar stencils are precision-cut to produce a perfect track outline. Each tracking stencil set includes one action stencil for creating common movement patterns and two single stencils representing front and hind feet (except for bird species which come with an action stencil and one track stencil). Stencils can be flipped over to create both right and left-sided prints. Each set also contains a natural history reference sheet that describes the animal’s ecological status, habitat, body shape, behavior, and diet along with illustrations of one or more track patterns. Also included are suggestions for classroom and group activities. Use these stencil sets to create life-size track scenes to help illustrate predator/prey relationships or identify gaits and patterns. Create customized field guides, augment journals or art projects, use for embossing, creating track positives or making life-size animal track matching games. Packaged in a reusable clear bag, these stencils work well with regular or colored pencils, paints, watercolor pencils, charcoals and chalk.

Track and Animal Rubber Stamps
These high quality 2-1/2 inch square rubber stamps represent a wide array of mainly north American insect, bird and mammal species. Many of these images are used in the well known Ampersand Press games such as Into the Forest, Krill, The Bug Game, Good Heavens!, The Garden Game, Oh Wilderness! and Predator. Use to expand or customize your own versions of these popular games or supplement your lessons on ecosystems, develop creative art projects, or to enhance animal information available in your classroom or nature center. Each anatomically accurate stamp features a colorful label and is mounted on a sturdy, easy-to-grip, wooden base.

Bird and Mammal Calls
The calls we offer are the finest available, but don’t expect to imitate the animal perfectly the first time you try. The best way to learn is to head into the field and start practicing, listening to tapes or mimicking the birds themselves. Note: although the directions in these calls often refer to hunting, these calls are also effective at bringing birds and mammals closer for photography or observation purposes.
