| EGGS OF NORTH AMERICAN BIRDS. These replicas are individually cast in ceramic and painted to match the eggs of 41 different North American species. Each egg is sliced in half and permanently flat-mounted inside a glass-topped 16 inch x 12 inch display case to prevent loss of individual eggs. Fascinating display, from both a biological and artistic standpoint. Includes common loon, pied-billed grebe, double-crested cormorant, Canada goose, mallard, golden eagle, bald eagle, wild turkey, great blue heron, American bittern, coot, kildeer, black tern, herring gull, mourning dove, red-tailed hawk, yellow-billed cuckoo, greater roadrunner, screech owl, barn owl, whip-poor-will, ruby-throated hummingbird, chimney swift, common nighthawk, belted kingfisher, hairy woodpecker, blue jay, American crow, northern mockingbird, house wren, American robin, eastern bluebird, blue-gray gnatcatcher, loggerhead shrike, yellow-rumped warbler, red-winged blackbird, northern cardinal, chipping sparrow, horned lark, and eastern kingbird.
