INSECTARIUM (HOUSING FOR CATERPILLARS AND OTHER INSECTS).

ITEM #: T-9328
PRICE: $45.95

Resource Description
INSECTARIUM (11" high x 11" wide x 13" deep). Carefully designed as a sturdy, reusable environment for observing the transformation of caterpillars into butterflies, this insectarium can also be used for housing terrestrial invertebrates. Large enough to hold plant material, water dish or nectar, this home features a rough wooden interior (so newly emerged butterflies can easily climb and hang their wings to dry prior to release), screening on three sides for ventilation, and a sliding plexiglass front for easy access. Made to last from second growth Eastern white pine, it is perfect for use in the classroom, nature center, or home. #T-9328. $45.95 each; 6 or more, $42.95 each.
