| SCAT OF NORTH AMERICAN WILDLIFE. Scat samples provide valuable clues both to the presence of an animal as well as its diet. This unique collection of 14 dried scat samples features a mix from both invertebrate and vertebrate species. Included are insects (bee and caterpillar), amphibian (bullfrog), birds (swallow and turkey), bat, rodent (woodrat), rabbit (cottontail), cervids (deer and elk), and carnivores (raccoon, coyote, lynx, mountain lion). Each specimen has been freeze-dried and sealed in a 16" X 12" glass-topped exhibit case. Silhouettes of the animals appear next each specimen. #T-12827.
