Stream Table Kit

This hands-on kit is perfect for studying how stream flows alter landscapes. This economical stream table provides students the chance to create their own landforms and follow the changes in a stream over time. Students can experiment with different flow rates for different substrates ranging from coarse to fine sand (not included – a 50 pound sack of sand should be suffcient).The kit includes a plastic tray, a drain trough, a tray support, and a siphon tube. A teacher's guide with three activities is also provided. The tray measures 14" wide x 46" long x 2½" high.
