Resource Description
ALLIGATOR SNAPPING TURTLE SKULL REPLICA. Amazing replica of a male Macroclemys temminckii. These turtles, the largest freshwater turtles in the world, inhabit slow moving streams and lakes in the US Southeast. Slow moving adults burrow in the mud, open their mouth and dangle out a pink appendage attached to their tongue. When fish pick at the “worm” they are snapped up! This high quality reptile skull measures 10-1/2” long. #R-19088.
