Made from tree trimmings, these high-quality Western Species Botanical Quality Tree Rounds range in size from 1½" to 4" across by ¼" to ½" thick. The rounds are dried and smooth-sanded on one side to allow for clear reading of the rings that vary in size depending on climatic conditions and species variations. A perfect, hands-on resource for introducing students to botany, forestry, dendrology, and the methods used to read changing climatic conditions.
