Poison Oak Display

This colorful display uses field-collected poison oak that has been pressed and dried to teach students how to recognize it before they encounter it. The display includes green spring and red-yellow fall leaves, a stem section, a fruit (seed) cluster, and a photo showing typical growth in the field and flowers, all pressed and labeled in a secure 8" x 12" glass-topped display. Poison oak is generally found west of the Rocky Mountains.
