Methods of Fossilization (Specimen Collection)

This study collection of 15 natural fossil specimens is organized to show the process whereby each life form was preserved. Use these identified specimens to illustrate fossilization processes such as petrification, pyritization, molding, casting, and distillation. Recommended for grades 7 through 12.
