Millions of birds are injured each year flying into windows. These WindowAlert® Bird-Saving Decals help prevent wild birds from accidental strikes. Each decal has a special coating that reflects ultraviolet sunlight. The near-transparent decals look “frosted” to humans, but birds see it as a brilliant glow much like a stoplight. Place the decals on the outside of the window. Concentrate decals at the center then work outwards, placing decals on every 2 feet of glass. For maximum protection, scienti­fic studies suggest placing the decals 2 inches horizontal, by 4 inches vertical, from one another. Please Note: The UV coating will fade based on exposure and local elevation. For best results, replace decals every 4 months. This pack contains two 5" x 8" hawk-shaped decals.
