Although most bat houses are designed to attach to buildings, some research indicates a high level of success with freestanding designs. This innovative bat tower mounts directly on a 4" x 4" post, with the post itself becoming the landing platform for bats that can then climb up into the house. The four internal chambers and attic provide for multiple roosting opportunities for up to 200 bats. The rough, unpainted wood surface allows birds to perch and crawl inside as they would in natural settings. All of our wood houses incorporate ventilation, drainage, and easy cleaning features.
