Rock Cycle Display
This unique, informative display uses easy-to-follow color-coded arrows to explain the formation of and relationships between igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. Melted rock (and flowing lava) are in red, cooled magma in blue (igneous), green depicts erosion and weathering, black arrows point to compaction processes (sedimentary), and orange indicates rocks formed through a combination of heat and pressure (metamorphic). This highly instructive glass-topped display measures 8" x 12".
