Owl Pellet Prey Identification Chart Set
This five-chart set helps students identify the bones found during owl pellet dissections. Each 18” x 12” chart is double-sided and laminated. One side provides an illustrated overview of the topic, while the reverse features “write-on/wipe off” graphic organizers, problem-based questions, and other review activities. The set includes Bird Skeleton Identification, Mole Skeleton Identification, Rodent Skeleton Identification, Shrew Skeleton Identification, and Vole Skeleton Identification. Each depicts images of the skull and other skeletal pieces such as mandibles, scapulae, front limbs, pelvises, hind limbs, ribs and vertebrae - the bones most likely to be sorted out during an owl pellet dissection. Recommended for grades 4 to 9.
