Create with Nature®: Pinecones

This large selection features over 350 quality, cleaned pinecones of five different conifer species. These cones range in size from two to seven inches. An identification guide is included, along with a brief description of each species’ range and height. Also included are pinecone cross sections for studying the internal structure of a pinecone. Perfect selection of "loose parts" for sorting and counting activities, crafts such as making mobiles, ornaments, bird feeders, pine cone wreaths, “flowers,” whimsical creatures, and more. Includes a list of creative ideas and additional references. Suggested activities are divided into two age categories (ages 4-8 and 8-12).
