Food Webs: NGSS 2-D Model Building Kit

This hands-on activity kit introduces key NGSS topics using modeling activities. Students build two-dimensional models, making observations and predictions. The kit includes 24 model building cutout sheets, 24 model building activity sheets plus a laminated “write on-wipe off” activity chart and a teacher’s guide, all in a convenient storage case. Lessons explore the role of plants in all food webs, how animals and plants interact, the role of decomposers and the effects that introduced species can have on an ecosystem. Designed for grades 3 through 5.
