These life-size bird egg replicas are individually cast in ceramic and painted to match the eggs of 36 different North American species. Each egg is permanently mounted inside a glass-topped 16" x 12" x 3" display case. A unique way to showcase the diversity of the egg sizes, shapes, colors, and markings found among our common regional species. The eggs featured include Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Least Flycatcher, Black-Capped Chickadee, Chipping Sparrow, American Goldfinch, Chestnut-Sided Warbler, Brown-Headed Cowbird, White-Throated Sparrow, Eastern Bluebird, Gray Catbird, Great-Crested Flycatcher, Horned Lark, Scarlet Tanager, Hairy Woodpecker, Red-Winged Blackbird, Brown Thrasher, Bobolink, Northern Cardinal, Common Nighthawk, Rock Dove, Purple Gallinule, Gambel's Quail, Black Tern, Boat-Tailed Grackle, American Crow, Sharp-Shinned Hawk, Crested Caracara, Caspian Tern, Barn Owl, Screech Owl, Great Blue Heron, Black Scoter, Wood Stork, Common Goldeneye, and Red-Breasted Merganser.
