Quality Bone Clone® reproduction of Bassariscus astutus. Found in rocky canyons throughout the southwest, ringtails are nocturnal and rarely seen. These mammals are very aggressive rodent hunters. Early miners were known to capture and relocate these animals near mine shafts to control rodent infestations, hence the coining of the name they are sometimes called (miner’s cat).
