Insect Nets

Acorn Naturalists offers high quality insect nets that last. You can find "butterfly nets" in toy stores and online, often in fanciful shapes. These nets, are, however, usually just that—toys that bend easily, have rough netting material that tears delicate butterfly wings, or handles that easily break. All of the nets we offer are field-tested by Acorn Naturalists staff for durability, from our reasonably priced student nets to professional entomological nets. Like anything else, buying a quality net in the first place is always better than repeatedly buying toy nets that don't work or last, or worse, have net bags that tear butterfly wings or otherwise damage delicate insects. We offer several sizes of butterfly nets, insect sweep nets for catching insects in grassy fields, durable student nets and professional metal handled nets in several net ring diameters. Replacement net bags are also available.
