Rubbing plates offer a creative way for children to learn about insects and spiders. To make artistic rubbings, simply lay a sheet of paper over the top and rub with a pencil. This set includes fly and spider, ladybug, butterfly with larvae, grasshopper, bee, and ant. The set comes with directions and ideas for expanding this art form into many unique projects and lessons. Each plate measures approximately 7" x 7”. Rubbing plates are recommended for children ages 5 and up.
