Heavy-Duty "D" Style Aquatic Net

This rugged net is ideal for intensive stream sampling conditions and holds up well under repeated use. The smooth, lacquered 5' handle is constructed from kiln-dried 1¼" diameter hardwood. The handle is permanently affixed to a rigid, 5/16" plated-steel net ring for a total net length (reach) of 70". Attached to the base of the canvas (8" below the ring) is a sturdy polyester netting (20 x 24 mesh per inch or 750 microns) with a 4" canvas skirt extending beyond to offer additional protection from snags or rocks. The flat side of net bag measures 12", and the net is secured to the ring by heavy-duty, plated clamps (“hog rings”).
