Wood Duck House

The wood duck readily accepts housing, especially alongside water bodies that lack adjacent arboreal nesting holes. This nesting box also attracts hooded mergansers. Mount this house on a tree or post over or near water. The house includes a specialized ladder for ducklings to crawl out — mother ducks call fledglings to the protection of the water at the age of one day! The house comes with a sack of pine wood chips for nesting material. All of our birdhouses incorporate ventilation, drainage, and easy cleaning features.
