Inks, Rice Paper & Brayers

These specialty printing inks are perfect helping young children succeed with fish printing. Since they are water soluable, clean up is easy with just warm water and soap. Available in a rainbow of colors or you can blend colors to make your own unique shades. The 37 cc (1-1/4 ounce) tube will ink about 30 nine-inch fish. Acorn Naturalists also offers these quality fish printing inks in economical 5 ounce tubes. The rice paper we offer makes perfect fish or leaf prints, drawing, calligraphy, or painting with watercolors. Rice paper has two surfaces: one with more grain to hold block inks or paint (giving character and creating softer edges) and a smooth side perfect for calligraphy. Available as individual sheets (100 sheets, each 9" x 13") or in rolls (12" x 50'). The rubber brayers we offer are ideal for evenly spreading printing inks on plastic plates prior to evenly coating the surface of the fish models. The brayers we offer feature a heavy duty comfort-grip handle with thumb rest with a durable rubber roller featuring a strong metal core. Two convenient brayer sizes are offered.
