Smilodon Canine Fossil Tooth Replicas (Matched Pair)

This species of "sabertooth cat," Smilodon fatalis (californicus), was a top predator that had the ability to drop its jaw open much wider than modern cats, allowing it to stab and then shred its victims. Use this life-size tooth replica to compare with modern feline teeth or to explore the relationship between tooth structure and diet. The museum-quality, Bone Clones® reproduction is cast in resin from a specimen discovered at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. Replicas are recommended for ages 6 and up, with adult supervision.
