This heavy-duty secchi disk is ideal for measuring marine or lake clarity. The weighted, 20cm diameter black-and-white disk features a strong, stretch resistant line that is calibrated every tenth of a meter for the first 2 meters and every meter thereafter for up to 20 meters (65'). This makes it very easy to get an instant and accurate reading without having to haul in the rope to measure it. A spindle for wrapping the line is included. This LaMotte secchi disk meets GLOBE specifications.
