Budding Naturalists® Bird Explorer Adventure Kit (Ages 8 - 12)

Developed by educators at Acorn Naturalists, this Budding Naturalist® Adventure Kit is designed to encourage individual interest in science and nature explorations. These kits do not require any formal training and are based on inquiry-learning methods as found in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). A perfect way to bring science into the home in an effective and meaningful way, either for families or for schools or nature centers sent to students for distance learning.

The Bird Explorer Adventure Kit focuses on birding studies for children ages 8 to 12. Practically all environments have avian inhabitants. There are literally no limits to what one can learn from observing birds, and for many, birding becomes a lifelong interest. This kit includes the Take-Along Guide to Birds, Nests and Eggs; the Professor Noggin’s® Birds game set; a Wild Bird Fundana® activity scarf; the Everything Bird activity book; a laminated Backyard Bird Pocket Naturalist Guide; and Birding 101, a laminated pocket guide designed for beginning birders.
