Budding Naturalists® Young Explorer Adventure Kit (Ages 5 - 8)

Developed by educators at Acorn Naturalists, this Budding Naturalist® Adventure Kit is designed to encourage individual interest in science and nature explorations. These kits do not require any formal training and are based on inquiry-learning methods as found in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). A perfect way to bring science into the home in an effective and meaningful way, either for families or for schools or nature centers sent to students for distance learning.

The Young Explorer Adventure Kit launches a new world of investigations for children ages 5 to 8. This kit includes Journeys through Journaling® (a 32-page personal field journal); the book One Small Square: Backyard; a 3x magnifier; an Urban Wildlife pocket field guide; and the outdoor education classic Sharing Nature, featuring games and outdoor exploration prompts from author Joseph Cornell.
