Electric Circuits: Inventive Physical Science Activities (GEMS)
We apologize; this item is no longer available.
The activities in this comprehensive title from Great Explorations in Math and Science (GEMS) spark creativity as students invent their own electrical gadgets using inexpensive and readily available materials such as plastic film canisters and holiday lights. The unit opens with students investigating an array of clever electrical devices, first exploring their function, then learning how their circuits work. The contributions of famous inventors as well as child inventors are highlighted. This 11 session unit culminates in an Electric Inventions Festival. Charged learning for grades 3 through 6.
