A controlling factor in diatom growth, silica concentrations can have a profound influence on aquatic succession and productivity. This LaMotte kit uses an Octet comparator (included) to measure silica levels at 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0, and 10.0 ppm (as Si) or 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, and 100 ppm (as SiO2). The kit provides enough materials for 50 tests. A refill is also available for this kit (see Related Products, below).
