Topsoil Tour® Soil Quality Test Kit (Digital Edition)
The Topsoil Tour® is an exciting classroom investigation into the physical and chemical properties of soil. Each student on the Topsoil Tour completes seven units while conducting their own soil tests for soil texture, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium using simple TesTabs® reagent tablets. The activities can be modified to fit specific curriculum needs or learning opportunities. Data sheets and puzzles for each unit can be printed or filled electronically by students using a computer or tablet. Digital versions of an Instructor Manual and Student Manual are also included. Recommended for grades 4 through 8. The kit contains enough materials for 50 students. A chemical component refill is also available for this kit (see Related Products, below).
