Common Snapping Turtle Skull Replica
Accurate replica of Chelydra serpentina. These turtles inhabit slow moving streams, ponds and lakes in the US Southeast. Their names comes from their habit of darting their neck out and "snapping" out at you when confronted on land. In water they don't seem to bother humans but are quick to snap at a passing fish.
