Environmental Interpretation Guides
Outdoor interpreters help individuals understand the significance of natural and historical heritage sites much in the same way that classroom teachers help students understand the importance of science, art, the humanities, and math. The difference is that interpreters have a shorter time in which to impart their message, often to informal audiences with very broad backgrounds. This presents challenges that can be met with experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm. The interpretive resources we offer are designed to improve an individuals ability to master the art of interpretation.
