Included here are forest activity kits and identification guides, creative games, useful references and engaging children's books. Also includes educational resources for studying temperate rainforests, old growth forests, redwood forests, eastern deciduous forests and the elfin forests of chaparral ecosystems. Creative inquiry-oriented kits are offered for teaching students how scientists use tree rings to track climate change. Also includes hands-on art activity kits including pine needle basket kits, papermaking kits and papermaking supplies. Plant, leaf, stem, root identification kits are found here along with many different species of tree rounds (tree cookies) and activity kits for learning more about tree anatomy and diversity.
