Not all tree rounds work well for art purposes. After searching for and experimenting with many different types, we have perfected a combination of the right species, size, thickness, and drying/sanding techniques to provide a smooth surface for painting or drawing. All rounds are sustainably harvested in the US from tree trimmings. They are perfect for making decorated program or event name tags, colorful coasters, necklaces, mobiles, collages, ornaments, small paintings, or picture holders. Ideal for student “make and take” home projects. Seal your designs with resin or polyurethane for waterproofing. Each dried tree round is approximately 3" in diameter x ¼" thick. 18 rounds per package.
